He was my love until she found him first,
Once at a party, she was drunk and sloppy,
He was my love until he said the words,
Before that, my life was enriched with clarity,
You want a label? You can't get it, get it,
Your loves' a fable, till you set it, set it free,
I wanna wear you like Coco Chanel,
And when your scent is wearing off,
I can't forget the smell,
It's not your heart (3x)
I should hold,
It's not your heart (3x)
I should hold,
I lost my heart a while ago,
And it's not your heart I should own,
I had a dream about you,
You were the man of my dreams,
I had to scream about you,
You were the man of my screams,
You're just a lovesick hiccup,
I got this lovesick sneeze
And when I dream about you
You come alive in my dreams
You want a label? You can't get it, get it,
Your loves' a fable, till you set it, set it free,
I wanna wear you like Coco Chanel,
And when your scent is wearing off,
I can't forget the smell,
It's not your heart (3x)
I should hold,
It's not your heart (3x)
I should hold,
I lost my heart a while ago,
And it's not your heart I should own,
And I think I know,
And thank god I know,
It's not your heart,
(He was my love)
It's not your heart I should hold,
(He was my love)
Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
Brooklyn art-poppers bid farewell with three cerebral bangers that treat the inevitable end as a vehicle for dance-ready catharsis. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2019
I refuse to pick a favourite, the best track is the whole dang album. Mine/Yours is the most romantic song of all time, Hive Collapse is the most heartbreaking end of a friendship, Milky way is the best nervous breakdown, ... it's all gold. Thank you Long Neck! elisk_
